Funny you should ask.  My cause of choice is my own Res Publica Rationis (the Commonwealth of Reason).  Besides promoting the values of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and hard and productive work, the commonwealth is engaged in an urban renewal project, whereby I am converting abandoned lots that have become garbage dumps into productive cropland.  The commonwealth's web site has a pictorial history of the first of those lots.  I hope that the LiveJournaling public might take a look, and possibly offer a bit of support.
